Hello All! I am in the CSUDH recording club, and we are looking for facilities (clubs, recording studios, post-production houses) to tour. We are also looking for someone in any area of the industry to give a talk (engineers, producers, session players, music retail). CSUDH is located in Carson, CA....

For some reverbs I listen to I want it to sound like a real space. For most others I will listen to the quality of the depth that they provide. For these I will try to see how they push the material to the background. When I am using reverb before crazy FX (ie compression then distortion) I sometime...

go on prodigy pro and get the mic kit. then reuse the body. voila instant great mic.

For me, I get things fundamentally right...like the distortion to sound right in the room, then I place my mic in different places, recording samples and playing them back and adjusting. I second that emotion.... Also: ---Dial in a sound you like for DGuitar.... and then turn down the gain a little...

You would only need to do that if you are using HI-Z input effects like guitar processers.

every tune on here with vocals is done with either one or the other. mark waldrep is my recording professor, he owns the label. pick up the sampler disc and hear the difference in 5.1 dvd quality sound.
