I second that notion - one of my favorite moments in music.Electro-Voice 664 wrote:In Through The Out Door is my pick, and Fool in the Rain's blue box solo / breakdown is my favorite section.RefD wrote:personally, i feel that In Through The Out Door is vastly underrated...so much so that i almost chose it over I.

much of what i read in the new yorker these days is just dreadful. the best thing in the new yorker are the ads that middle aged women drunk on wine post about needing to find a man fluent in 10 languages. I couldn't disagree more with this statement. The New Yorker is full of great journalism - on...

But it's good for commercial radio-ready sound. I would also get more drastic with panning - stuff is a bit cluttered toward...

I would rather be forced to tweak rail after rail of meth, while strapped to an uncomfortable chair wearing only a diaper and flip flops while a group a hot 19-yearold girls make fun of my penis, while being forced to listen to Menudo Sings the Partridge Family for a solid week than be subjected to...

Great insight - thanks. I'd probably be using it primarily on acoustic guitar; the samples on his webpage are helpful (and it sounds like what you described - aggressive and accurate) but I'm wondering if the top end is gonna be there for me if I need a cleaner, smoother type sound? I guess what I'm...

A few essential suggestions for a day in Brooklyn: Get up early (or still up from the night before) and go walk in Prospect Park. The guys who designed it consider it their masterpiece, even more than Central Park. It has a million delightful surprises and it will make you feel really good to be ali...

...that was the fastest response ever. Thanks for that.
I emailed him and he says he has some right now. Also considering the more expensive multi-capsule Charter Oak M900 but $200 is hard to beat.

Does anyone have any insight into what this mic sounds like? Compares to...?
There was a review of it in TapeOp#46 but I can't seem to find that issue. Can anyone sum it up for me? Thanks!
