My '62 AC-30. New voxes are ok but, my old one is a holy grail type of amp. For some kind of tones I also really like my fender champ. For approx what your friend paid I'd look at a silverface Princeton Reverb (never mind just checked out the prices for old silverfaces and they are pretty expensive....

I'll second the AKG 460b. If your wanting SDC they sound really good although I often like a mono OH with a Coles or a Pearlman. I Use 451s a fair amount to but, think I prefer the 460s

To answer your question, no I haven't ever used them on piano. I have used 57s plenty of times and have had nice results. Both behind facing sound board as you decribe but also pointed at strings. I love m160s? a lot and might always pick them over 57s except for possibly snare and upright piano.

OK. Jesus. Sorry about this, but after looking inside, I've come to a decision. The fastest, easiest, cheapest and best way to clone this amp is to set up an alert on eBay. In case you were wondering... https://www.flickr.com/photos/120122772@N04/sets/72157646746438759/ ^^^ yes this. Also maybe bet...

FS 1980 LP custom

Worn but loved Les Paul Custom. Marked as a "Second" but it must have been a finish blem that no longer matters. Comes with Original Hardshell Case. Guitar Sounds great. Nice action, frets a little worn but I still think it plays great. Asking $2,100 + actual shipping Would be interested in partial ...

Definitely don't plan to do this often. It was either me or nobody. Basically didn't touch much just adding cd text, iscr codes and spacing. Sterling only lets you listen to DDP images created by them. Great idea though. Didn't want to buy software to do this one time. I did figure out a work around...

Help Sending files to client

Hey All, Have just finished up mixing and mastering a project for a client. I want to send the mastered audio to client for approval. My thought was I would just create a disc image in disk utility (mac) then they could burn and listen. Turns out you can't create a disk image of an Audio cd in disk ...

We just moved into a passive solar designed home in November. Really helped with heating costs this winter, which was especially cold up here. The main room sounds really good with no treatments. Ceiling heights (and I'm guess-stimating) go from 20ft to 30ft. Room is 30ft by 25ft with opening on one...

There was a cool demo video a while back with Eric Valentine doing a drum demo. It was a single mic setup. He used a m160 and it sounded great.
