SOLD: TEAC A-3440, RC-70 remote, takeup reel, repro hubs, $475
Alas, I am selling my TEAC A-3440 quarter-inch 4-track. Everything works. I'm selling because the two shops that could service this machine locally have closed! This deck is in really excellent shape—a few dings and scratches on the side panels, but everything is in good functional order. VU meters ...

It’s the blue knob on each channel, right?

Re: Looping pedal with a controllable "tape head"?
Wow! Thank you. I do think the iPad is a much more affordable solution, but that pedal looks really cool.

Looping pedal with a controllable "tape head"?
Anybody know if there's a looping pedal that lets you sweep through the sample with an expression pedal or knob? That is, that controls the position of the "tape head," so to speak?

Re: Keeping a DeltaLab Super Time Line alive
Thanks, guys! Nice to see y'all. No, the caps aren't leaking or bulging but that doesn't mean they haven't failed…maybe I will give it a try. A pleasant afternoon's work if all goes well, right? If I get round to it I will report back.

Keeping a DeltaLab Super Time Line alive
Hey, y'all, long time no see. I got my hands on a Super Time line ADM2048. It works, passes signal, successfully creates echoes. All the time buttons seem to work fine, with the delay times usually correct. But the output is…inconsistent. It sometimes has trouble maintaining pitch. The LFO knobs hav...

Re: Mega-board
time to bring back General Recording Yes, this. If it was up to me, there would be two forums: General Recording, and Off-topic. The people (including me) who caused trouble in off-topic back in the day are all old and (somewhat) respectable now... even the offshoot forum that got started when off-...

Best TOM bridge for Bigsby?
A guitar question for y'all--what's the best tune-o-matic replacement bridge out there for use with a bigsby? Callaham now makes a TOM, and there's the Tone Pros one. My one LP (it's a Tokai Love Rock actually) now has the Graph Tech bridge, which has ended broken strings for me, so I'm inclined to ...

iPad edition
Hey guys, congrats on the iPad edition! I subscribed, happily--this is a great resource. But I have to say, it's a little disappointing that the app just consists of hi-res images of each page of the print mag. The type in the print mag is already smaller than in any other magazine I read, and now, ...
