Also check with avedis about the tester chips he makes with the 2520 opamp footprint. You can throw a cheap chip into the socket to test before throwing your precious fancy opamps in. I of course destroyed not one, but two before discover these things...

Hiya, Yep, I have a 12" pb 1.33 ghz and the oo2r. It's fine. It never really starts biting it until you're running newer waves plugs that are notoriously cpu hungry. I use mine for everything, but these days mostly as a tape machine. If you're going to rely on plugs, get the most computer you can......
