In addition to the Pioneer, one could always cannibalize an old Bose:
"The original Auratone used the exact same CTS driver that was found in the original Bose 901's from '67 to '76..."

One advantage you have this moment is that the used market is being flooded with gear from the recent television change over, bankrupt post-...

You could probably make it happen with four Tascam LA-40s, but a pair of LA-80 or LA-81 units would take up less space. If memory serves, there was once a multi-channel r...

We have been marveling at this contraption in the NW for a little while. It is posted on Craigslist too: http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/msg/1375785549.html My understanding is that a longtime TOMB member actually has one of these in their arsenal. Not this one mind you -- another one. Imagine a ...

My love for this band began with "In a Priest Driven Ambulance" and I have been a devoted fan ever since. Very eager to pick this record up. I'm a "Transmissions" nut myself but have still liked a lot of the later stuff, esp. Soft Bulletin. They really ratcheted it up a notch with "Transmissions" & ...

Drew, you might look into a Sony SRP-V110 too. It is arguably one of the most versatile 8-channel analog mixers ever made. NBC used them recently at the Olympics. They were produced in Japan and the domestic MSRP was 189,000 yen. The US MSRP was $2,295. Sony still services them, but the model was di...
