Help! I need a favor-
I'm at work, and I've got all these wav files I recorded (at work on the most shitty ass microphone and soundcard ever) and I need to compress the hell out of them for a telephone on hold message. I've got ACID 5.0 here, but the damn thing doesn't have FX plugins, so I can't use any limiting tools h...

Re: Oktava ribbon = mean looking flyers
Blue highway? No, don't know that foundry I'm afraid. I think all I've used in this flyer is available from Adobe -- Avenir (95 -- Black) and I think DIN Shriften for the rest. There was a type foundry called Larabie Fonts back in the early 2000's and they put out a typeface that looked a lot like ...

Best one yet.marqueemoon wrote:I would love to see a reality show where the contestants compete to have their reality show concept made into an actual reality show. It all turns out to be a lie though, and (as approved in microscopic print on the contract the contestants sign), the "winner" is tarred and feathered.

Re: Screen printing on burned cd's
UTFSF!! LOL!! heres a great post by our own boardmember Ryan_C to me a while back : Alright Sky, I'm going to write this assuming you have absolutely no idea what you're doing. Of course, you may know some (if not most or all) of this, so I apologize in advance if you already do. Screen printing is...

Re: Screen printing on burned cd's
If I can recall from memory. Use a enamel ink. It is air drying. Usually 4hrs drying time. This is what a friend did at their silkscreen shop. We used to use enamel to silkscreen cardboard boxes. High gloss sheen. The project was for Angry Swede. They did the marketing for Atomic Snowboards. Contac...

Re: Screen printing on burned cd's
I've got the screen, the time, the patience, and the money- I just need to know the type of ink if anybody knows it. As for how we're drying it- I'm not sure- wouldn't that depend on the ink?

Re: Screen printing on burned cd's
I want to make things custom, like different colors for different types of cd's and stuff. Also, different designs and stuff, so 1,000 is way too many.

Screen printing on burned cd's
First off- does anybody here do this? I'm thinking I'd like to screen print onto some burned cd's- but my friend who tried it had really bad luck with his ink- it was really poorly spread and it was totally a matte finish. Part of that is just mastering the craft, but I think the finish is probably ...
