Fathead Ribbon Mic vs. Shiny Box Ribbon Mic
The Fat Head was reviewed this issue, and the Shiny Box one or more back. Both in the same price range - under $200 for a basic model. Has anyone worked with both, such that they could offer an A/B comparison?

That wont empty your wallet... That is relative. I LOVE the latch lake stand we have here. I have used it on every single session since we got it. The people are great, and it would last you a lifetime. I would rather buy one of those than have 10 different cheap stands fail on me over the years......

Had the same problem this weekend, only with my Voiceworks. Given that I live in Appalachia and have not many choices, I went to the only place possible - Radio Shack, and got this:
