Are you really bored by it? Haha, yes I find it tedious to listen to. There are some great moments where they bust into some amazing guitar or vocal line, but they'll precede it with 2 minutes of monotony, so what wouldn't sound amazing after two minutes of the same guitar line playing over and ove...

Hmm, I also get nothing but a list of songs both in Firefox and IE. I'm not getting propted to do anything, and quicktime isn't opening, which it normally does when prompted to. Is it possible they took it down? I was one of those people who was horribly bored by Ghost, but loved everything they had...

i'm sure its not super transparent. but isn't the presonous m20 dual channel? with the burr brown upgrade might get you to what you want. at that price point. then later you can add some trannies for some personality. if you want. I'd give a thumbs up to that choice. The MP20 is fantastic sounding ...

If you have the cash, I would just buy a used Royer on eBay, and then sell it when you're done. It will probably cost you nothing but shipping, and you can use it for as long as you want (or can afford to be without the cash). Another thing I like to do, if I really want a piece of gear for a record...

Re: Neumann U87 AI
What an absolutely useless piece of overpriced shit. Has anybody found it useful for anything, ever? I know, I remember my first experience with a u87ai. It was the most talked about and hyped mic at the time, and I was so excited to try one out. Then I put it on a male vocal and couldn't not belie...

Very temping. Damn this economy. You ought to cross the pond and come over to WI, our economy has been kicking ass for a long time. We have very low unemployment, low cost of living, and quite a lot of good paying jobs. I think you folks over in MI are going to suffer the auto industry for some tim...

They are the best tape machines as far as maintenance goes, I will give you that. The studio I used to work at had two of these machines, and they worked very well most of the time. That said, when something went wrong with them, and occasionally that happens, you have to call a tech in to fix it. P...
