I just got Sonar 5 P/E up and running on my new comp. I was wondering if anyone else out there has it and what they think of it?

If your playing a jazz bass: play on the bridge pickup.

I've had a little bit of luck with a 57 if you place it about halfway into the bass drum at about a 45 off the head. It gets enough of the shell that it keeps it a little warm, and you get the clack from the beater to give it that nice metal feel... but then again you might not be recording metal

Apearently no one makes them, which kinda blows, but oh well...

Echo is expecting to have some for there products between Late Dec and Feb.

Motu Just started working on some, but dosent know when they will be available for there products.

Any one have any other news?

If you can drop an extra $50 (aprox $200) the Beyerdynamic DT 770's are pretty groovy.
