Real Plugin Emergency. Help if You Can, ASAP!!!!!!!!

Post by crimsonking » Sun Sep 07, 2003 3:04 pm

I am running Digi 001 LE 5.1.1. I am using a 800MZ single processor G4. My problem is this: :( :( Suddenly, I cannot process tracks with TDM plugins. (RTAS works fine.) The strange thing is, I'm still allowed to "preview" the effect, & the program goes through the motions of processing the track, but there is no resulting change to the audio- either audibly or visually. This is a sudden and recent development, and as there have been no significant alterations to the setup I have been running for over a year, I am quite confused. Please help if you can, I'm dead in the water now.

Do you have "Use in Playlist" selected? What could be happening is that you are affecting the track but the new audio file isn't showing up in your playlist. Try looking in your audio bin to the right of the screen for your new "plug-in'd" files. Just grab them and spot them into the track or re-do the plug-in and check the "Use in Playlist" box.

Good luck.

Shawn:

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must've inadvertently deselected this button in a flurry of mouse clicks during last night's deadline crunching sessions.

In the words of Smilez and Southstar (two of the worst rappers ever)

I did not think you could use TDM plug-in in a Protools LE system? Am I missing something here? I have a ton of TDM demo plug-ins I got from a Protools tour lat year, but the guy said it will only work on a TDM system?

How are getting TDM plug-ins to work on a LE system?

I meant Audiosuite. I was reading about TDM before I wrote my desperate post, and was so befuddled that I made a flub on terminology. Sorry for the confusion! I have not dicovered some hidden compatability secret....

You guys are F@*#ing great though.

Long may the tape op community thrive!
