Its working great here on PC.

I tried it once before but it was the crippled demo. Now that I can do some projects in it I feel its a pretty good peice of software for the (old) price.

Excellent! I downloaded the larger file and it seems to work fine... Well, now actually creating listenable music is the challenge. <sigh>

Apparently, version two is just about to come out, which is why they are giving this away.

nope, not a demo. full version. however, tape op mag is doing the same promo, so when you fill in the field that says where you found out about the free download, put Tape Op Magazine instead of Guitar Player Magazine (cuz it's true)

I think it's OK. Pretty intuitive. And for the price! ;)
Actually Tracktion has always been my first suggestion to people that need a DAW and are on a budget. But it still seems to deliver on a lot of basic and effective DAW features without the price tag.
I say it was worth the $70 (that was it right?) they charged for it and it's almost mandatory now at *free*. :)

bummer. Do you have an MBox?

I remember there was a bug where Tracktion would open-> then close if you had an MBox installed.
