Oh yeah, I was talking about Will Owsley. I have know idea who A.S. Owlsey is, unless that's Will's uncle who I believe had something to do with the development of LSD.
By the way, you're more than welcome to do any of those interviews yourself and submit them to the magazine. That's oftentimes how it works.

Owsley was an early Electronics and gadget wizard- benefactor to the Dead, he also developed quite a reputation for chemical studies. The other folks mentioned were involved in sound reinforcement and or recording the Dead.
They were all important in developng live sound technology in common use today. I Think Live/Dead may have been the first Live 16 track rock recording.
