Post by amyatt1 » Sun Nov 19, 2006 1:07 pm

I know rafter did an interview, I'd really like to read it! (I know others would too). Any news?

He records on a Roland VS880. Seriously. Let's discuss.

Sufjan is one of the best songwriters of his generation.

I saw him on Austin City Limits recently, and I'm sorry, anybody who makes his 17 piece band wear butterfly wings on stage cannot be taken seriously. :D

But Shara Worden (who is in his touring band) may be worth a second listen. Her band is My Brightest Diamond.

Version #1, I believe, not the EX version from 1998.

I read an interview with him somewhere online where he discusses this.

thanks for the link Out Of Tune! I can't believe he was mixing in the box with so little gear. Mind-boggling.
