Issue 109
I often stretch out the TapeOp experience by reading the welcome, letters, behind the gear sections, and then slowly reading the articles in sequence. For some reason issue 109 opened to the Glyn Johns interview. I am glad to hear him clearly explaining the value of recording people playing together, making decisions early, mic the instruments minimally, and at a distance, to hear them in a realistic, musical way. Larry Crane was able to gain admission and share with us great insights earned over decades of recording experience. Thanks for getting this out here.
