I really appreciate that Tape Op seems to be making a concerted effort to interview more women, and people of color, too. At the same time, as someone who mostly records live bands and doesn't do anything digital, it's the interviews with older recordists that speak to me more, and that's an era when women were especially underrepresented. Which leads me to...how about Peggy McCreary? I know we just got a lot of Prince info from the Susan Rogers interview last year (which was fantastic!), but I could always go for more; and she of course has tons of other amazing credits under her belt, too.
