I had no idea about Tom Wilson, i really enjoyed reading that and then doing the deep dive online afterwards to learn more. Nate Smith i am a massive fan of, the dude is one of the baddest drummers out there for jazz/funk/soul stuff, bad to the bone, james brown would have loved him. It was a great read. Thanks for all you do
THANK YOU
Thank you for Tom Wilson and Nate Smith

yeah, I really enjoyed the Tom Wilson article too. I was also completely in the dark about the guy. I also enjoyed the Harry Connick Jr. article (and Steve Perry in the previous issue). Great stuff.

Hadn't heard of either, great story & interview. I'm only about halfway through the magazine and this is a really stellar issue so far.

I can't remember what compelled me, but I had done some reading about Tom Wilson online about a month ago. I probably first heard about him when I was a teenager obsessively reading the liner notes to Zappa's "Freak Out!" album. And of course Wilson has a whispered monologue on the "We're Only In It For the Money" LP. A very interesting guy.

Thanks everyone! I've been really trying to mix up the issues and have all sorts of music and people in these issues. It's been fun!
