Sonar 5 selectively hanging on XP x64?

Post by Ethan Holdtrue » Tue Oct 10, 2006 8:23 pm

So my newest fun adventure is trying to figure out why half of the files I transferred over from my old rig (Sonar 5pe on win 2000) are hanging on my new rig (Sonar 5pe XP x64). I was thinking it might have to do with a 32 vs. 64 bit VST thing or something, but have mostly ruled that out. Save a bad transfer, I'm pretty unsure why half of them open fine and the other half cause Sonar to hang. Any one else run into or hear of this?

One of the plugins you have may not be installed properly, try opening the project in "Safe Mode" This will prevent the plugs from opening:
