the original MBox

Post by logancircle » Sat Jun 30, 2007 9:17 am

My buddy has an [Intel] MacBook and the original MBoxe. I think the last version of ProTools to support this interface was 6.2.3 or something, and he's trying to locate an old version of PT to download and can't find it anywhere on Digidesign's site, which isnt shocking. Is there someplace he could get an old version? Anyone?

Even if you could find an older copy it would unlikely work with 10.4 or the intel mac.

I have original Mbox I use with v7.3.1. Just get the newest version of PT. It'll work.

The only LE hardware to have support discontinued is the Digi 001 - the last version to work with the 001 is PT 6.4. Sounds like your buddy might be confusing the 001 and the MBox.
