"LINE AUDIO DESIGN" mics or pres anyone???
Has anyone used this stuff?
http://www.lineaudio.se/
I found the company years ago and the prices (once translated) seem sweet enough even after shipping. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me anything about ANY of their products.

It is a one man company located in Rinkaby outside of Kristianstad, Sk?ne, Sweden. His products recieve rather good reviews here (hopefully not just because he's swedish like the reviewers). I also know that his CM3 small condensor microphone is a well regarded mic.
I have the 19 inch, 8 channel mic preamps unit called OMP (the one before the latest 8MP) and it is a huge step up from the Studio Projects 828 I had before. It has insanely more clarity and low end than any other mic pre I have tried. But, I've only had preamps where each pre cost less than $100 each.
I know that if you order the preamps you will have to wait a couple of weeks before they are being shipped. Anyway, here are some samples I have recorded with mic -> canare l-2t2s cables -> OMP -> canare l-2t2s cables -> MOTU 828MkII:
Unavailable
Not the best sounding drums and mic placements (specially the kick) but hopefully the samples can do the unit some justice.
Best Regards
Edit: Added one more overhead clip. The MXL 603S is modded with the simple mod where I changed out the capacitors (am I right?) to better ones. I have also added mp3 clips for smaller sizes and compatibility.

i'm intrigued by the CM3. i've been thinking about picking up an ATM450 or used SM81 for nylon string guitar, but this one looks pretty darn flat and has that all-important exotic quality
there was a thread on gearslutz a while back where someone was promising to do a shootout between a DAV BG-1 and a Lineaudio pre, but it never materialized.
