Re: A dialog between two fictional people in a studio
AIN'T THAT THE TRUTH!!! Your studio talk piece tells it exactly like it is!Them tape days may be over, but what about them songs days. I guess they?re over now, too, huh?
If it wasn't for my respect of copyright laws and my compassion to keep from embarrassing the hell out of some of the people who have sent me CDs for airplay, I'd just LOVE to post some of the crap I recieve so you all can have a good laugh... ...like this little nugget which was supposed to be country parody of Nelly's 2002 hit...
IT'S GETTIN' HOT IN HERE! I WANNA DRINK A BEER!
Nice idea except that it sucked. Just because Al Yankovic does it (and is damn good at it I must add) does not mean that each and every aspiring music star should take a crack at it..... ....like the guy actually expected me to give it priority airplay on one of my shows? Now Really? And he expected that the general public would buy it? At least Diskmakers got their money....
Well, my drummer has this sweet plug-in, so I?m gonna take it to his place and have it mastered there.
And please save yourself the postage and save me the trashcan space. Music that is mastered with the "KILL" setting at ten is going into the garbage and not my radio programming. Thank you!
