Ha! I used to rock the Realverb back in the day (when it was owned by Kind of Loud)! Now I'm using Altiverb mainly - sometimes IR from Waves.

You could spring for a UAD-1 card. Depending on which package you get, I believe that RealVerb Pro still comes with it, e.g., one bundle lets you choose a certain number of plugins, another comes with all of them, and there may still be one package that's just the card (in case you have all the plugins you want but just want more processing power).

I don't recall that there's much difference between RealVerb Pro and the original KOL RealVerb. If you get a UAD-1 you'll also have access to their rilly nice plate and also Dreamverb, which is basically RealVerb on steroids.

I have two UAD-1 cards and most of their plug-ins. I used RealVerb back in the day but haven't looked to it for a few years now, what with convolution 'verbs and other such 21st century goodness. If I ever wanted that sort of color now I'd look to Dreamverb or my trusty old Lexicon boxes.
