A Cool reverb trick
There are many ways to do this with outboard reverb and pre-fader sends, and you could do it without printing anything, but I also like this stupid-simple ITB method:
Duplicate your [INSTRUMENT] track and pitch-shift (audiosuite) it up an octave.
(Add slap delay here if you like, like 80ms w/ long feedback).
Add some crazy distortion.
Set whatever reverb plug you like for a long plate or church and lots of high freq absorbtion.
Print this reverb to the pitch-shifted track 100% wet / 0% dry.
Now you have a trippy, mellow up-octave track of [INSTRUMENT] reverb onto which you can throw some more distortion, rotary chorus,... and mix to taste. This sounds good on vocals, bass, piano and snare, and probably a lot of other things.
Try it, it's fun!

Yeah, but then take that printed reverb track, duplicate it, and pitch shift the copy back down an octave... or even two octaves.. and mix together.
Or better yet, time reverse the dry track to which you want to add the reverb. Then do all this. Then re-reverse the dry and wet tracks. And you will get the most heavy-metal sounding effects ever.
I love heavy metal.
