I always seem to flux things up.
I asked this earlier and haven't heard an answer- if you switch to silver solder, do you need to get rid of all the lead solder in a connection before you fix or alter the joint? Or can you just go along as if the silver were lead and mix things up?
not to worry, just keep tracking....

can i ask you this?
i bought a roll of lead-free solder(dont remember what brand). other than the high melt temp, it doesnt bother me. should i switch back for "audiophile purposes", and life expectancy of joints?

I don't know how I missed this thread- leaded solder all the time- it's the punk thing to do! And in these days of w. Bush, we should all be a bit more punk!!!
Besides, it smells better!!!
