Metric Halo/Logic 8 funkiness
Metric Halo/Logic 8 funkiness
Anyone here using a Metric Halo 2882+DSP with Logic 8?? Using the MIO strips as plug ins has been pretty problematic for me. They work, then they dont....

Make sure your firmware is up to date too- not just the MIOconsole app. One of the guys at MH guided me through it via email- i'll post it below, but there may be a newer version. Mine works fine, so i have not updated it again:

Download the latest firmware and Console from here:
http://198.104.190.225/MIO/MIOConsole_4.0.57.zip
Trash your current Console from your Applications folder, empty the trash, then drag the newly downloaded MIO Console into your dock.
I'd like you to boot the box into firmware safe mode to do this update:
With the box completely powered off, hold the mute button down on the front panel while you power it on.
Then launch the Console, and select Utilities>Update Firmware at the top of the screen.
Navigate to the miofirmware2_2_02 file that you downloaded and hit "Choose"
Then, download the latest driver from this link:
http://www.metric-halo.com/MIO/MIODriver_2.2d208.zip
Run the driver package installer. You will need to restart afterwards.
After the firmware update, we can see where things stand with high power mode. You will still need to get the PLL mod done to improve your clocking situation.

Don't be afraid to send them an email for help. The guys there are really great.
