Any tips for fixing a bent pot?
I just bought a used bass amp head (a SWR Workingman 4004), and one of the pots has a bent shaft on the pot.
Probably will leave it alone, but if anyone has an idea of how to unbend the shaft without ruining it, I'm listening

replace it with a new pot if it bothers you or isn't doing its job.

Agreed - pots are cheap and pretty easy to replace (depends on the gear). I don't think they are really worth fixing, unless it's a quick and simple thing. Post a picture if you can.

Use vise grips. Gently.

gut a bic pen.
put it on your shaft and gently bend it straight. best thing to do is replace it. mouser.com has every kind of pot imaginable.

I'll try the bic pen - that's exactly the DIY fix I was hoping to find. I'll try the vise grip too.
Thanks!
