Mic (or other gear) cases

Post by Jim_Boulter » Tue May 05, 2009 10:27 am

1SaleADay.com - today only, $16 shipped. They describe it as: Aluminum Hard Case for Photo/Video Equipment Customizable for all your Equipment with High Density Cubed Foam Inserts & Dual Keypad Locks

I read it as: Mic cases!

I'm not affiliated in any way. I bought 2.

Thought I'd share where it might be appreciated.

Cool.
I like pelican cases a lot. I like the fact that when I go canoeing or snowshoeing with my M49 and my U47, I can count on the session going well.

I nabbed a couple as well. Great price, and it ought to beat cramming my mics in a drawer.

Mic / gear cases

Post by premiumdan » Fri Jul 31, 2009 5:20 am

CaseOp:

Bumping up this thread because they're selling 'em again (July 31, 2009).

It's my first order with the website and I grabbed three.
Hopefully they're at least half-decent...

Anybody have opinions on the company and/or cases?

Cheers!

My cases arrived timely, and in good shape. No problems with my credit card, etc.

They are pretty convenient mic cases. The foam is easy to use and customize, and the shoulder straps on the outside of the cases are a nice touch.

These are not the most durable cases in the world, and the latches are a bit wonky. If you are not going on a world tour, they should be fine.

I think it was a good buy when I bought mine.

The foam is cubed so you can customize them.
