FIRST!!!!!!!!!!

I emailed Apogee a few years ago asking: why not write some windows drivers for the Duet? They responded quickly but of course the answer was "HELL NO"

anyway. I'd totally rock the Solo if it were windows-friendly. I have been wondering whether the Solo converters are the same chip as the good higher end Apogee stuff. but too lazy to google abou tit.

gearslutz folkz say duet sounds better than solo.

but now sure how you can make a precise comparison as the duet has no built-in mic.

i want a usb device, don't want to be limited to firewire, usb works on every system i have, only my dell has firewire.
