Aiight, I'm a guitar/bass-vocalist songwriter with a occasional jones for organ parts.
I'm allergic to MIDI and VSTi's.
I want some OK cheap piano and organ sounds.
I currently use a Casio CTK-330 (listen here to know how badly) and wanna up the sounds, cheaply.
Whatcha's recommend?
I am not adverse to used stuff ...

i have a hohner pianet T that i love. it's a poor man's rhodes if that's up your alley. they go for around 300-400 used.
for cheap organs look at farfisa, vox continental, vox jaguar, etc.
for cheap piano you can get uprights or spinets for free if you get a moving truck, and then just call the society for the blind and have them tune it for $100. you get the real thing and help someone less fortunate![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Nick, that stuff's all MIDI, right? You want me to get hives?
MTJB, I actually had a Rhodes suitcase (my second) here until a cuppla years ago. I got it to refurb and did, but I was unworthy to play it, and it was huge. I traded it back to the guy I got it from for a bedroom set for my daughter.
I had a little Farfisa for a while back in the 90's (another repair job) and that was cool, if limited.
I guess I'm looking for sompin' like my Casio, but better?![Embarassed ](./images/smilies/icon_redface.gif)

Put a decent set of headphones in your car and start haunting your local pawn shops and thrift stores relentlessly.
I got a Kurzweil K2000 at Goodwill for $150 and it was much better than a Casio. Some of the higher end Yamaha all-in-one keyboards sound and play pretty good too.
I am not a keyboard player either but you do need one in the studio.
I ended up with a Novation X-Station but I ain't skeered of no MIDI!
