You know, I've always wanted to say this, but I'm always afraid of getting flayed alive for it, but what the hell (since someone else already said it): I don't like Bonham's drum sounds either. LZ just never did it for me in general (heresy for a lot of people, I know.) And yeah, I always thought the groove should come primarily from the bass.
