Pic of the 5 completed 500-Series DIYRE Colour Palette saturation modules. Loving these things, and the sweet
Louder Than Liftoff colour modules I mentioned earlier in this thread should be shipping soon enough. Can't wait to slap those in and check them out (especially the analog delay and "Tube Gigantifier" modules!!!)...
Oh, how I love DIY!
I'm really digging the 15IPS saturation module on stereo drum room mics - my favorite application thus far, but I plan on experimenting more with Kick/Snare (we know they love saturation and crunch!), Bass and vocals ASAP.

Randyman... that's awesome! Petereson from DIYRE is one of the best dudes I know. I'm so glad the Colour platform seems to be taking off, always love seeing them get into people's hands. This is definitely a company to support.

And this bass, simply because I like the inlays.

Never used a Mopho but the Pro 2 is pretty slick, despite being a "hybrid." I thought it was time to get rid of some of my old keyboards and bring in one really cool new one. I haven't even began to dig into this really, I was hoping to maybe replace my Nord modular (which though badass requires you to edit on an old pc)...and this may do it for me... Was either this or the Moog sub 37, and this just seems a thousand times more powerful.

Symetrix 522, kinda a nice, dirty compressor; this one was upgraded with new pots and caps, and I do believe I'm a-like it, especially for US$100 shipped.
What begs the question, of course, how many compressors is enuff many compressors?

Sennheiser MK 4.
I gotta say,
oooh! On vox, it's kinda sorta like a condensor SM7b. OK, of course it ain't, but that's what I thought ... very clear, very clean, seemingly very accurate, except I sound
good singing into it.
