Quality Tube Amp Repair in Portland OR

Post by Neptoonijazz » Thu Jul 06, 2006 12:39 pm

I have a '70's SVT that died and needs some attention. I need someone who knows what they're doing to fix it up preferably with experience working on vintage tube gear. It's too heavy to ship so I need someone local.
Thanks

the dudes @ Old Towne Music seem pretty on it. I've never used them for repair though. I think they're at SW 3rd and ankeney. 503-295-6808

Try Leighton Audio on N. Mississippi, just north of Mis. Pizza. He used to work at Old Towne, but started up his own business. Phone (503) 367-5725.

Well, there's this guy named Opie who hangs out at Duff's Garage. He makes his own line of tube amps / gear called OpieLux or something close to that. Not sure how to get ahold of him, but he's the best... haha. Sorry.
