You mean the original or the Brit Mod one?

Not sure!
I have no clue...
I've been reading boards, "Behind The Glass," and other things- and I hear about it- but I have no idea which one they are talking about.

Those are them, and like mentioned above, basically the same unit, one with a mod for some alternate 'sounds'.
A great, very flexible compressor. High on my to-get list.

Yeah, "flexible" is the key word....
I can use that box on just about anything and be happy with what comes out the other end...
I only have the stock EL8s w/o the British mod...
Am I missing a lot?

Honestly, I have yet to find a "useful" application for the Brit mod. Could be that I just haven't "found" it yet though...tonewoods wrote:Yeah, "flexible" is the key word....

I could live without my brit mod..the stereo link actually affects the sound when on without another EL8 attached..or maybe with another as well..I only have one..
the compressor is very cool..it has this unique sound..versitile..its a little flat and grainy compared to the uber expensive all discreet comps out there..but I mean that in a good way..nothing will do it ALL but this is definitely something that hasn't really let me down..the knobs are big which is great..Can't see anyone really hating it..
