Routing Reason into Cubase

Post by Sethro50 » Mon Apr 23, 2007 5:48 pm

I have an M-Audio midi keyboard hooked up to Reason. I am wanting to wire Reason in to Cubase but I have no idea how to actually do it. The other problem I am having is that I can't get any sound to come out of Reason. I know the keyboard is routed right and plug in correctly. When I press down on the keys the sensor lights go on in Reason, but no sound comes out. Does anyone know how to get Reason to start making sounds and then how do I route those sounds so that I can record something in Cubase? Thanks in advance.

There should be a section in the Cubase operation manual to walk you through using rewire. As far as the no sound output in reason, check the audio page in preferences and make sure you have the right output device selected.
