I recently bought three of the Gateway FPD2185w monitors and just love them. I'm not sure who the OEM is on them, and they are a little more spendy at about $500 each, but they're really nice. They are actually a 1680 x 1050 resolution screen (true HD minus overscan space) instead of the cheaper 768 resolution displays, which might not mean much for audio and computing stuff, but for video, it's real HD. They also happened to have more input options with VGA, DVI, composite, S-video, & component, with a Faroudja video processor on the standard analog inputs. That kinda swayed me a bit too.
I've placed all of them on articulated arms, though they need to be the heavy duty arms because they weigh in around 14 or 15 pounds. One is the primary monitor for my control room system and the other two are in the video/composition suite.

I just got the Hanns G 22" from Newegg a couple weeks ago. Great for the price (I think its $280), it has a dvi to component video cable and supports HD.

speaking of newegg, got two of these about a month and a half ago:

i like them although one has a dead pixel dead center. my other engineer is pickier and rants about them "sucking." the stand is made out of plastic and is not exactly adjustable in any way.

but side to side, they make for a huge work area!
