Steinberg MR816 experience--anyone?

Anyone using the MR816? I'm considering either the Steinberg box or the Fireface 800, which is obviously well regarded. I'm a Cubase user so the integration is a plus, if the sound quality is in the same league. Thanks!

Haven't heard it, but the steinberg guys told me it ranks up there with the likes of RME and Apogee.

Yeah I'm having a hard time finding an objective opinion. Are these reps or buddies that are users?
