BX20 owners

Post by Ed Hinton » Sat Feb 05, 2011 4:01 pm

I have a BX20 with a bad coil. Dan Kennedy(Great River) has offered to help me get the coil cloned by a company he works with. This will cost a lot. Trying to see if there is some interest. People could buy coils from me after this is done, to offset my cost.
This would be the only supply in the world that I know of, AKG has been out for a long time.
Let me know.
Thanks,
Jeremy

Mine had bad feedback, it was making scratching noises before that happened.
Now with one side of the bad coil detached it just bit noisy, too much to use that channel.
I'm glad you might be interested, I'll let you know if I go ahead with this.

You might want to try asking on the Electrical Audio forum too, Steve's love of the BX20 is well-known and many people there buy whatever he uses.
"some kinds of love, the possibilities are endless"
