mixing in pro tools for film

Post by christiannokes » Wed Sep 21, 2011 4:00 pm

Hello. I am trying to figure out how I can be mixing the audio (actors talking, sound effects, music) for a film and watching the video at the same time. I am not familiar with pro tools, but that is what i am using. Any pointers?

^^^ what he said.

Basically, you need to convert the film to Quicktime and then import that file into your session. Once that's done it's all quite easy.
