From a recording perspective it would be very interesting to hear one single guitar sound so different in the hands of each different player.

Check the kick a$$ pickup on that guitar.
Reminds me of the "golden tone" pickup on my '62 Harmony Meteor.

When I first moved into my house, my neighbor, an older guy from the hood who grew up with his 8 brothers in the house, was chucking out an old yellow "crap" guitar. I took it in and it ended up having a pretty cool tone when it wasn't even plugged in. New stuff generally gets the creative juices going whatever it is, so I wrote a bunch of stuff on it. A few years later, I decided to google it to see where it was made, etc. and the only place it turned up lauded it as one of Tom Morello's secret weapons.
Imagine that.
