Markers aren't showing up in Pro Tools 10

I'm not sure what's up but when I set up a marker in pro tools 10 I get the little flag up in the timeline but no marker vertically visible crossing the waveforms. Any ideas? I've tried looking up preferences, the marker pop up menu doesn't show anything either.

Check the option thing in the upper left hand side of the edit window, just to the right of the "tracks" column.

You need to look up grid preferences, and also what sort of marker you are actually setting up. There are many different settings for the markers... some do not put a line across the edit window.

I forget which does what... you'll have to check on your PT how markers are set up.
