the arrangement and vocal lines really reminded me of Homogenic by Bjork. Good stuff.

I got it a few days before the SNL performance after a friend/client had brought it over for me to listen to. I've never hated Beck but never really got too into him. I love this album. Cohesive songs and cohesive feel of the album - two things that I found lacking to my taste in the past. Acoustic guitar-based, 70s-ish dry drums, and beautiful swells of ambient sounds. I'm loving this one.
