Took a mic to the head a few minutes ago from 2' (it fell off a shelf), was a LDC.
Just glad, I guess, it wasn't a RE20.

I bet you're really glad your hobby isn't artisanal bowling ball making.

Immutably, and in so many ways!
The mic (a ADK A51-V) survived, tho', it's fall cushioned by my fat head.
Then I threw it across the room - not really - could you imagine the damage a flying LDC could wrought?

I musta been really clumsy this weekend, I knocked over my Sputnik on a stand, twice - it also survived as did I, despite what musta been some resultant atrial fibrillation. And I think I mighta stained my hoondies.

We were recently talking about how unpleasant it would be to take a Coles 4038 to the head if it were hurled towards you.

Might be worth the risk tho'; I'd be willin' to try it.
I mean, if I catch it, I can keep it, right?

I've seen pics of your space, vvv. I'm surprised you ever make it out of there in one piece.

I know a studio that at one point had 13 KM84s. They were really into them before they got expensive again. Now I think they may have 2 or 3. When I started interning there I found one in the cushions of a couch.
