Not particularly loud.....but VERY Zen. Or would it be LOUDER than ANYTHING? Kinda scary. I don't recommend it....too untried.

I've used the same technique on vocals and it worked great. Plus you can go back and punch in parts later and the levels always match.

i'm actually going to record every instrument on my solo record this way. i think i'm going to track digital instead of tape because of the much lower noise floor, but i'm concerned about it sounding sterile. what do you all think?
