I think it would be fun to see some sort of "Catching Up With..." feature or issue, where people featured in the first 6-10 issues are tracked down and re-interviewed. I've wondered letely what is happening with:

Anders Parker (Varnaline, Space Needle)
Jud Ehrbar (Space Needle, Reservoir)
FM Cornog (East River Pipe)
the Studio Red guy, Adam Lasus?
Darron Burke (2nd mention on this thread -- his Makeshift Studios in Jamaica Plain in Boston is doing well, he's an old friend, but I can never get ahold of the guy -- Darron, if you're reading this, it's Bob, how's the wife?)
uh, damn, I don't have the TO book or my original #s 1-10 near me right now.

Anyway, I'd like to see that.

Also:

Chris Ballew
Pete Ducharme (aka Master Cylinder)
John Dragonetti (Jack Drag)
and oh, what the hell, Phil Spector
Juno Kane

Poster Children, enough that I've thought about writing the damn thing and trying to pitch it later.

They've worked with all the cool recordists. (Steve Albini, Bryce Goggin, Iain Burgess, Mike McMackin) Their last few albums have been self-recorded, and they sound BRILLIANT!

I'd love to see an Al Jourgenson/Paul Barker interview too. They get some amazing sounds, and I'm sure there's some good stories in there.

Id like to volunteer to interview Jimmy Page.

Its a bummer that he gets so much credit as a guitar player or a songwriter or cult hero, as so far as Im concerned, the guy is one of the best producers who ever walked the land and CERTAINLY the powerhouse of the 70's if you dig on rock and roll recordings.

I dont think Ive ever read an interview with him where anyone addressed the fact that he produced all the led zeppelin records.

It would also be nice to hear what Brendan O'Brien has to say about mixing so many 90's staples.

John Frusciante - his solo albums make my world

Brian Wilson - ya' right!

What's his name Puig - ask him about Black Crowes "Southern Harmony" album

George Drakoulis (sp?) worked on the Crowe's Southern Harmony CD. Puig did the next two; Amorica and 3 Snakes & 1 Charm.

Southern Harmony is the shit, though. Prolly my fav of theirs. Guilty pleasure, but whatever. If you like fat-ass 60's/70's sounds, that record delivers.

And Mitchell Froom. He's in the book, but the interview's real short.
