I just ordered my Presonus Eureka. I'm pretty excited about. I've heard a lot of good things for such a bargain price. And since I record in my bedroom, it should do me well. Now, in the most recent Tape Op, I think it was, there's talk of replacing the opamps with different chips. Maybe the Burr-Browns or what not. Here's my question.
Does anyone make a socket converter to turn an 8-pin dip into an API 2520, 990 style socket? Wouldn't that be a great opamp mod? Oh baby. Tell me someone somewhere makes such an obscure piece of electronica.
