does anyone know how jim o'rourke's i'm happy, and i'm singing, and a 1, 2, 3, 4 was created (software, techniques, anything)?

i would love to read an interview with him talking about it.

thanks.

i posted this on the last board, but i didn't get anything back.
hopefully this board is better.

Don't quote me on this, but I think it's one or more live laptop performances that were later edited with more laptopfoolery.

you're right. i guess i should have said in my original post that the only thing i know about this album is it's o'rourke's computer music.

but thanks for the comments jay and jt.

I asked him about his lap-top setup once after a show and he said he doesn't use commercial software for any of his laptop stuff. Maybe he uses Csound? Because he said he either designs his own software, or codes his own programs or something to that effect. I know you can write your own code to Csound, so I'm guessing that's it.
I forget specifics though. I was drunk.
