I've seen it, but it's been years. Pretty amazing. It definitely gives the electric kazoo a run for the money.

Man, it must take like a million years to tune that thing. Not unlike a wurlitzer 200A...

Try to fit that in a basement....
Re: The best instrument EVER!
that's located near where I grew up. it's pretty amazing, though when I think back, it's more the construction and the concept that impresses me, rather than the sound itself.

Re: The best instrument EVER!
I wish I had one of those in my apartment. It's funny-- my old apartment was nicknamed "the cave"... couldn't have fit that thing in it though. I have to go check that out sometime. The guy that made it sounds really interesting. I'd like to hang out with him if he's still alive. Hey, with a name like Mr. Leland W. Sprinkle, he's got to be cool.

Not nearly as cool as Larry Sprinkle, local weatherman and voice talent in Charlotte. And yes, that's his REAL name.ubertar wrote:Hey, with a name like Mr. Leland W. Sprinkle, he's got to be cool.

Re: The best instrument EVER!
Big deal. Our local weatherman is Storm Field, and that's his real name. And Leland knees Larry to the nuts, shoves his face in a blender and presses "liquify".
Oh wait-- this isn't Creot. Sorry Chris.
