I just bought a pile of the Stromma and Rabbatt "diffusors" at Ikea and I'm gonna try and put them up in the control room tonight. I'm thinking about mounting them to boards so I can just mount the board to the wall, and move them around for optimum placement.
Just thought I'd ask for mounting tips from people who have already done this.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Re: Mounting Ikea "diffusors"
i havent seen these. is there a visual online somewhere? ill check ikea's website. they seem to be all about helping home recordists. their newest catalogue even has a mock home recording studio with laptop and allen and heath board. i thought that was pretty cool.

Re: Mounting Ikea "diffusors"
I looked at these in the store but didn't think they'd be deep enough to offer any diffusion...i mean I guess they are better than a flat wall but they aren't even 2" deep.
On another note, for a wicked 'workstation' type desk, I got a 'jerker' desk with two monitor(for computer monitors supposedly...) attachments for either side to put my nearfields on....under $150 and perfect!!! not the low desk but the 5 ft high one with adjustable shelf(for video monitors)
