to fix up...or to rent...

Post by the velour fog » Tue May 13, 2003 9:50 am

so...I finally am getting ready to do some long overdue recording, and plugged in...put on the headphones, and heard what sounds like a growling dog, capable of cycle breathing. There is an airduct right above my head. and the room next to mine, has the furnace. Is there anyway to fix this (without having to invite a construction crew over.) Or would it be better in looking at another place to setup shop?? What do you look for in a good recording room?? (and again...I don't mean slanted ceilings, and double walls...I know what makes a good studio...but what makes a decent room??)
