This is a really good point, Sky. I seem to have the best luck cutting two octaves above where the fundamental buildup occurs, if taking a bit of the fundamental out thins out the sound too much. You can usually hear another resonance at this frequency anyway. Good call!

:oops: ..it works pretty well with more extreme eq that is, on a snare that has that freaking ringing that makes you want to :kotzen: ..you know..overall makes stuff sound more natural and fixes the problem at the same time..
